History

Whelan and Gordon has been providing top quality roofing and roughcasting services since our founding in 1963.

The company was started by Frank Whelan and James Gordon, two tradesmen who quickly built the firm’s reputation with their high standards of workmanship.

These standards were duly noted by Renfrew District Council who added Whelan and Gordon to their list of approved suppliers where they still remain to this day.

In 1988 Frank Whelan Jnr. became part of the family business and eleven years later took full control following the retirement of the two founding partners.

Over 40 years on we still maintain our reputation for the high standards of workmanship our customers have now come to expect from our tidy well trained workforce.
